MONIQUE

Monique was born on 3-17-2455 and grew up in the Southern Alpines.  She attended Academy, joining House Raven but she was kicked out after her second year because she just wasn’t that good.  She loved fighting though, even though she lost more than half her fights, and remained in Academy, taking individual combat classes.  During this time her fighting skill improved somewhat.  Upon graduation she moved to Harbor City and began fighting in the underground fight venue there.  She was one of the first girls to meet Ishmael upon his arrival and maintained a seething jealousy over him right upon until she was killed by Liz at The Mat Club 1-1-2480.

Monique was never a particularly respected fighter and throughout her pro career she managed to keep her pro record hovering just above the 50% mark most of the time, primarily by targeting young jobbers every chance she got.  Her jealousy over Ishmael usually blinded her from caution and led to some of the worst beat downs she received, especially in fight after fight with her most despised rival Stephanie. 

Monique did begin to improve substantially in her later career, and even managed to kill the feared brawler Natalie in a private fight of some mysterious circumstances, showing up afterward wearing the latter's black panties and wrestling boots, which she continues to wear for the rest of her fighting career.
