THE JUNIOR FIGHT RING


The Junior Fight Ring is an Inner City fighting venue with Pro status.  It is the least violent fighting venue in the Inner City and as such is used as a training ground for many up and coming fighters.  Fights here are closely monitored and will be physically stopped from reaching a kill.  


Holly is instructed by a City Mod in referee stripes to roll the unconscious Rachel over for a pin and a victory pose.  Any further attacks on the defeated girl will result in a tasering and possible forfeiture of the bout. 

OPENING BELL: 9:00 am

CLOSING BELL:  9:00 pm

(Hours sometimes adjusted for tournaments or other special events) 

ENTRY FEE:  200 Credits for an all day pass. (This price lowers throughout the day until 5:00 pm when it reaches 100 credits, at which point that price remains until opening bell for the final fight.)  Once that final fight has begun, if seats are available, spectators can get in for 50 credits to see the ending of the last fight.)

THE BLOOD RING

The Blood Ring is an official Japanese fighting venue located in New Tokyo. It bears the distinction of being one of the first fighting venues visited by Ishmael on his return to Earth in February of 2473.

ZELDOS

ZELDOS


Zeldos is the last remaining continent on Earth, thanks to MASSIVE feats of engineering and terra forming.  In fact, a great deal of earth from the rest of the planet was transported here to build the landmass up and raise it to several hundred feet above sea level, making it completely safe from ever being submerged.   At one time, before the “Dark Ages” this place was known as Antarctica and was virtually uninhabitable.  Zeldos contains 90% of all above sea level earth left on the planet.  From a distance it appears like a low lying Butte emerging from the ocean, and its coastline consists of nearly perpendicular cliffs that rise from 200 to 600 feet above the ocean.  The only public access point is Harbor City.  (See Harbor City.) though there are water channels that run down and out from Green Tower City proper though knowledge and access of these tunnels is very selective.  Zeldos represents the most incredible feats of terraforming and earth manipulation that have ever been achieved.  The engineers who designed and constructed it did so in such a way as to create a microcosm of what the Earth once was, and every type of ecological system that there ever was exists here in some form or another.  They have swamps, plains, deserts, tundra, mountains and jungles.  It is the only place on Earth that still has portions that experience winter, but only in the very center of the continent, which is where the South Pole is.

DOCTOR GREEN

DOCTOR GREEN
Doctor Green is a 20th century catfight artist and story writer whose brain has been preserved and given a robotic, spider like chassis which he is able to use to move around.  He is also fully equipped with all manner of defensive mechanisms which allow him to protect himself and his human companion Ishmael from danger.  He continues to create renderings of the many female fights that he witnesses in the 25th century on his travels through the new world with Ishmael.

NEW JAPAN


NEW JAPAN

New Japan is the most geographically unnatural and second most culturally/racially homogenized nation on Earth, New Japan was constructed around the original island of Japan by using terra forming, mountain razing and earth moving. The Island is a perfect circle, with New Tokyo (in the exact geographic location of the original Tokyo, being dead center of the Island.  A staunchly isolationist nation, New Japan is not technically part of the NWC, though they do mostly conform to the council’s edicts in terms of educational standards and international diplomatic trade and relations.  In addition to their impressive fishing fleet, a good portion of New Japan’s economy comes from their own particularly unique style of female combat.  Outsiders are allowed into New Japan, but under strict guidelines, and at any given time, no more than 100 non-Japanese fighters are allowed into the country.  Also it is very rare, though not illegal or unheard of, for Japanese fighters to leave New Japan, though a couple have made their way to Green Tower City to enjoy the fighting circuit there.
Haruki and Miho prepare to begin fighting in a boxing match in one of the many fighting venues of New Tokyo.  The illustration here was created by Doctor Green, who changes his art style to "Manga" whenever he is visiting New Japan. 

 New Japan is the first place Ishmael visits on his return to Earth in February of 2473.  He remains there for a little over a week, and is given a "Japanese Wife" by the name of Sing Li.  She earns this title by winning an extremely violent elimination tournament put on by the New Japanese government.

After the arrival of Ishmael, many Asian fighters leave New Japan to fight over him in the fabled Green Tower City.  In addition, Ishmael makes several return visits to New japan.

2-20-2473 Jennifer vs. Miho

Jennifer vs. Miho
(The Blood Ring)


I have been in New Japan for almost a week now and am planning to depart soon.  As Sing Li (my Japanese Wife) is obligated to remain in country, I want to find a companion to ride with me.  Several rivalries have sprung up over this honor, and in the forefront is the Japanese fighting sensation Miho, with her dyed blonde hair and leopard print panties.  My last night in New Japan is to be tomorrow and a death match will be held between as of yet unnamed combatants for the honor of sailing South with me.  It is assumed Miho will be one of the fighters, but she has accepted a challenge from a white girl named Jennifer.

(Author's Note:  This was the last of the "Manga Style" drawings I attempted and was in fact, as the other series that featured Miho, a paid commission series.  In fact those two sets were the only times I ever "sold the rights" to my art, as they were featured on a professional website.  That, however was over 14 years ago, and the website no longer exists, so unless I hear otherwise I will leave them posted here for the enjoyment of my tiny fan base,)

MIHO

Miho is a Japanese fighter from New Japan.  She is distinct from other New Japanese fighters with her dyed blonde hair and blue contact lenses.  This "White Girl Image" has earned her much scorn from other Asian fighters, but her fighting prowess in the rings, mats and bedrooms of New Japan has helped her counter this derision and beat down many of her detractors.

She is one of the very first fighting women Ishmael encounters upon his return to Earth in February of 2473.  At the time she has never left New Japan but though she loses out on the right to sail South with him to Zeldos (to Jennifer) she shows up in Green Tower City some months later and begins a fighting career there, which was very uncharacteristic of Asian women before Ishmael's arrival.
