Yumi was born on 5-3-2453 in New Japan. Throughout her life she focused entirely on individual combat sports, and earned a decent fighting reputation while in Junior Academy. As soon as she turned 18 she left New japan and headed for Harbor City, getting herself a small house there and began to frequent the fighting venues in that city.
