Thank you! It's an older series but it remains one of my favorites. This was one of the last ones I did before I started coming up with the Green Tower City idea. (So it was folded into the storyline retroactively.
The death by a neck breaker was a disappointment. The idea of placing pieces of wood with prominent shards in each fighter's corner, and then letting them untouched through the fight, tsk tsk... At least they should have inflicted some chest and belly wounds before one did a deadly impalement somewhere in the last pic.
Those are actually supposed to be strips of duct tape. I liked the idea that the mat has seen lots of use over the years, and instead of replacing it, they just patch the rips with duct tape.
