The Bloody Mattress is one of the oldest fighting venues in the Outer City and currently holds official Amateur status.

The
Bloody Mattress is basically a small shack that can hold about 200 people who
pay 50 credits each to get in. In the
dead center of the one room building is a small 10 by 6 foot fighting cage with
a dirt floor and a mattress on which the fights take place. They begin each day’s fights on a fresh
mattress and auction it off after the last fight of the night. The more stained
the mattress is with blood, puke, urine, sweat, shit and cum from the fighters
the higher price it tends to fetch.
The fighting
mattresses that have been brought in vary widely in size and style. They have had mattresses as small as a single
twin size in the middle of the cage, which leaves quite a bit of empty space
for the girls to go, and they’ve had King size mattresses which almost fill the
caged in space. They can even cram two
twin size mattresses in which leaves no room but they typically only do that if
they have tag team or Battle Royale style fights scheduled for the day.

Except for in cases of special events, The Bloody Mattress has opening bell at noon sharp each day, and last bell at 11:00. (Hours were somewhat longer prior to the arrival of Ishmael, but the Bloody Mattress, much like all venues, does what it can to accommodate Ishmael and began closing earlier so he can make it to The Poison Lair in the case of a Birthday Girl Death Match which always take place at Midnight in that particular venue.
The Bloody Mattress often begins their day of fighting with a death match, called The High Noon Death Match, which is almost always by way of specific challenge.

Like all officially recognized Outer City venues, the Bloody Mattress is 18 and over only, but unlike the technically superior Inner City venues, they really have no means of verifying the age of combatants or spectators all a girl really has to do to get in is say she is 18.

The Bloody Mattress employs a rotating system of "rules" that are strictly enforced by 2 or 3 armed City Mods. In all cases fighting is restricted to the interior of the 6 x 10 fighting cage which is locked from opening bell to closing bell, though from there the rules vary from the most lenient: in which fighting is allowed to take place anywhere within the fighting cage to the strictest, in which both combatants must remain on the fighting mattress at all times. These rules change daily, but are not announced, so fighters must determine them throughout the course of the days fighting, The rules are NEVER changed during one day of fighting and are enforced with Tasers by the City Mods, who are paid for their services.

It's one of my favorites as well, though I did make it a bit difficult on myself continuity wise with drawings since the mattress changes daily.
