5-4-2473: We’ve
been on our journey down the Zeldos river for almost a month and are getting pretty close to an area called The Badlands, which is the last region of wilderness we will pass before getting into the outermost fringes of civilization that makes up the Greater Metro Green Tower City. That is still a couple weeks away however and Cherize is spoiling for another death match so she challenges a Jungle Girl
named Lana to take her on in the barbed wired fence ring.
The
fight turns out to be the end for Cherize, and Lana makes it very clear she
intends to take me as a trophy, though she speaks very little English. I take her aboard my watercraft and we spend
a great deal of time celebrating her violent victory in my large bed. After a couple hours she disappears back out
into the jungle and I am alone again. By
the end of the day we have left the Jungle and are entering The Badlands, a
rocky landscape with few signs of life.

Was always disappointed Cherize lost this one.
ReplyDeleteWell at least there are some prequel stories now where she comes out the winner. Plus I have the Noelle character later that bears more than a passing resemblance to her!
DeleteTo setting her sweaty barefoot in her opponents face makes it very clear here can be only one girl the winner.
ReplyDeleteThat's the way I like it best. A clear winner and loser. I've never been a fan of ambiguous endings to fights.
