The School Yard is an unofficial Outer City fighting venue. It is attached to The School House, which is a sort of orphanage that has been set up in an old abandoned Elementary school left over from the old days of Green Tower City. Girls who want to learn how to fight but don't have the means to go to a paid school and don't want to live in the Slums often end up here. They are given quarters and some courses in combat. During their stay here they must wear standard issue School girl uniforms of white panties and bras, white knee socks and black shoes.
The Schoolyard is a small fenced in fighting area located in the middle of what was once a playground. There is a small stand of bleachers there and when fights are taking place spectators can sit and watch for a small fee of ten credits. Mostly the School girls fight each other, but outsiders are allowed to challenge Schoolgirls to fight. This is looked down upon by the fighting community and is usually a way for jobbers to up their wins, even if it is an unofficial venue.
Occasionally a School girl will defeat her opponent, in which case it is customary for her to relieve the unconscious fighter of her panties, which then become a part of the schoolgirl's uniform, albeit along with the white socks and shoes.
