GRUDGE GAUNTLET
A
Grudge Gauntlet is a series of bouts scheduled between two individual fighters
or tag teams that have developed an intense dislike for each other. These are generally set up by fight promoters
in cooperation with various recognized venues, both professional and
amateur. There a wide variety of forms
these “Grudge Gauntlets” can take, but a very typical one consists of a best of
seven series, sometimes over the course of days or weeks and usually held at
several different venues until one girl wins 4 or one fails to show up. Often times a caveat such as “loser leaves
town” is attached to these events.
