Harbor City is (as of 2473) the one and only public access point to the Continent Nation of Zeldos. It lies on the coast directly south of the Andalusian Archipelago, and ships can be carried up onto the mainland by way of a massive freight elevator. Once at the top they can enter Harbor City and have access to the Zeldos River. Being located at the peak of what was once Mount Vinson, and having been built up even further in the gargantuan land moving efforts of the 24th century, Harbor City is by far the highest point on the entire planet, and as such it and its immediately surrounding area are now the only places on earth that still have a cold winter season, complete with ice and snow. Harbor City is small, and is isolated by the area’s winter. The water way is kept thawed here only at the mouth and through the small town itself by artificial means, but the river immediately south of the city is frozen typically from late December through late March, and travelers are encouraged to wait out the winter here before attempting to head towards Zeldos.
